Dr. Christina Park

Dr. Park graduated from the University of Alberta College of Dentistry in 1987 and practiced general dentistry for almost twenty years in Grande Prairie before returning to the University of Kentucky Graduate Periodontology program, where she earned her Master of Science Degree and Certificate in Periodontology in 2010. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

She has a special interest in Esthetic Periodontal Procedures such as gum grafting for root coverage and Implant surgery.  Dr. Park believes strongly that dental professionals should take the time to involve patients in making informed decisions about their treatment. She has also taught at the University of Kentucky as a clinical instructor and enjoyed her interactions with the faculty, dental students and the patients. It is her sincere hope that you will feel welcome, respected and well-treated at Smiles4U dental.

Dr. Park is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and American Academy of Periodontology and  American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Ward Piepgrass

Dr. Ward Piepgrass is a 1986 graduate of the University of Alberta College of Dentistry. He practiced general dentistry for eighteen years in Grande Prairie before returning to graduate school for an additional three years of training in periodontology and implantology. In 2007 he was awarded a Master of Science degree and a Certificate in Periodontology. He is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

In Alberta, as a certified specialist in Periodontics, Dr. Piepgrass practices the full scope of periodontics, such as gum disease treatment, grafting for recession, gummy smile treatment, dental implants and related surgeries, as well as removal of problematic teeth. He has provided Intravenous(IV) Sedation for his patients’ comfort and safety for over 30 years.

Dr. Ward Piepgrass is a member of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology and American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Mark Choi

Dr. Mark graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Upon graduation, he practiced in the field of general and cosmetic dentistry in Australia before relocating to Grande Prairie.

Dr. Mark is known for being gentle and compassionate to his patients, while providing top-quality modern dental care.

He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in aesthetic restorative works, cosmetic crowns, root canal treatments, and wisdom teeth extraction.

Dr. Mark regularly engages in continuing professional development courses to stay up-to-date on the latest knowledge and skills.

During his leisure time, Dr. Mark enjoys exploring the local food scene and enjoys good food and craft beer.

Dr. Jun Kwak

Dr. Kwak has completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to dental school, he received Bachelor of Science in Physical Science and Chemistry from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Kwak's focus is to provide quality care with respect and compassion. He listens to his patient's individual needs and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for patient's oral health. He actively engages in continuing education courses to better serve the patients in the community.

He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.

Apart from dentistry, Dr. Kwak enjoys spending time with friends & family, practicing golf, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
